Laws that May Get you Banned from Ascension
  1. • Questors must be officially registered for the Quest in order to start and complete the marked Course
  2. No Bandits or Highwaymen
  3. • Questors must not Barter their Billet for Entry or wear someone else's Billet
  4. • Questors must not alter or remove Course markings in any way
  5. • Questors are expected to use Good Sportsmanship with all other Questors , Ascension Volunteers, and Common Folk who may be bantering about, and must not use verbal or physical aggression at any time
  6. • Purposefully cutting or not running the full Course in any manner is strictly prohibited, although that is nearly impossible on the Ascension Course

More Laws
  1. • If a Questor Refuses to Continue at any point, the Questor must either inform the Haven Station Captain or make their way back to the Finish Area and inform the Timekeeper
  2. • A Waiver must be signed before registering during the registration process
  3. • All Billet for Entry numbers must be worn on the front of the body and remain visible at all times
  4. • Haven Station comestibles are for Questors only, and Courtiers may not use the Haven Stations to seek their own comfort
  5. • Questors must complete the entire Quest on foot and under their own power, without any assistance from Wheeled Conveyances, Magick or Other Sorcery in order to gain credit for the Ascension being currently attempted
  6. • However, conveyance through witnessed and documented Divine Intervention is allowed
  7. • Questors must follow the entire marked Course
  8. • If a Questor somehow gets Off Course, they must go back to the last point along the Course by foot and resume the correct route
  9. • Littering of any kind is Prohibited
  10. • Any Questor caught littering will be Disqualified
  11. • Use the Waste Receptacles at Haven Stations to dispose of Rubbish
  12. • Smoking or the Use of Illegal or Magical Substances at Haven Stations or along the Course is Prohibited
  13. • Questors are Prohibited from interfering with or casting Magick or Sorcery upon other Questors
  14. • Cutoff times are strictly enforced
  15. • Come to Ascension knowing the cutoff times and be a Noble Sport if you are told to stop because of a missed cutoff
  16. • If a Questor crosses the Finish Line after a cutoff, they will not be credited with completing that Ascension
  17. • Courtiers may not administer Aid outside of a Questor's designated Reflection Space
  18. • Questors are responsible for their Courtier and Court behavior and understand that their Court must follow the Quest rules as well
  19. • Questors may not participate with their pet, farm animal, or any magical or mystical creature

Cancellation Policy 
• Ascension will take place rain or shine unless conditions become unsafe or prevented by some other Force of Nature, Global Pandemic, Display of Sorcery or Magick, or Act of The Almighty
• The Quest Steward will have the final decision to make changes in order to best meet the group’s interests and the safety of Questors, Volunteers and Spectators in case of Extreme Weather
• The Quest Steward will determine if and when the event shall be postponed, resumed, delayed or canceled 

Out of fairness to all participants, no exceptions can be made to any of these rules or policies
